After posting the review for Amano's Chuao bar, Art Pollard himself emailed me to send me some cool pictures in Venezuela. Mr. Pollard is known to do chocolate bar release parties with the farmers from where beans are cultivated. I admire this and wish I could be there one time for one of those release parties.
"In November, I went back to Chuao and threw a mini party for the farmers. I presented each of the farmers with a chocolate bar made from their beans. They were so incredibly happy. It was really an amazing and humbling experience -- as it always is when I have the opportunity to take chocolate back to the farmers. I spent a week in Chuao and ate an amazing number of Arepas. ;-)"
