I am a Chocolate Advocate!

The name of this blog 20°N & 20°S comes from the knowledge that the best chocolate being produced in the world, grows between the parallels of latitude 20° North and 20° South of the Equator.

My name is Candice Alström. I am an amateur chocolate taster. In the real world, my life way from the internet, I teach people how to pair beer with food. I am the wife of Todd Alström co-founder and co-owner of BeerAdvocate.com. As well being the event coordinator for BA, I also manage and organize all the beer festivals for BeerAdvocate.com.

The purpose of this blog is to track my progress as I grow with learning about and experiencing chocolate. From new tastes and full reviews, to learning about techniques and tips. I will also include any traveling adventures relating to chocolate.

Interests:

I am interested in food, baking/cooking, craft beer, candy/confections, beer dinners, beer pairings, and of course all things chocolate.
