I have been sitting on these pictures for a while and forgot to post them until William Curley announced new packaging for this product. They came with a sweet package he sent to me from London after reading a not-so-great review of one of his bars. William Curley is a very talented and amazing chocolatier. I believe the review was a fluke. I stand by it of course, but his kindness was to send a care package overseas to me and these were in it. I only wish I was able to get back to London sooner rather than later to try his pastries. Follow him on Facebook to see what I mean.
Caramelized Piedmont Hazelnuts
These were just a lovely and fantastic treat. Whole Piedmont hazelnuts dipped in and then dusted with Amedei (Italy) Toscano 70% cocoa. Crunchy, sweet, but not too sweet. A lovely treat. A nice chocolate treat when you want a break away from chocolate. The crunchy hazelnuts are the main dominate flavor.
Not to be too English about it, but since it is a lovely British product, these are the perfect little bites to be served with tea. A nice rich, full flavored black tea.
Once again, I am forever grateful Mr. Curley, for such a wonderful package you sent. Even if this is a late post.
